I’m thinking a lot about what I’m doing here with the Peasant Times Dispatch and I’m really interested in making sure I am delivering something valuable to you.
You probably noticed that I have been a little off schedule this month. There’s good reasons and bad reasons!
One of the good reasons—my wife is pregnant! The first trimester has packed a whallop and so I have had to do a little more in the “taking care of my wife” department than I have had to do previously, and it’s eaten into my ad-hoc writing time.
So what I want to accomplish is two things: I want to keep broadcasting the message I had in mind when I started the Peasant Times-Dispatch—that idea of the Peasant’s Faith; I also want to do so in a way that is flexible enough to survive the arrival of Baby Scoot in a few short months.
That’s it, as far as I go. The rest of this is focused on YOU.
I need to hear from you.
I need to know what you have liked about the Peasant Times-Dispatch, and what you want more of. I need to know what you could do without. I need to know that you have an idea of what the Peasant’s Faith is about, and if you don’t—I need to be more intentional about telling you!
I thought about sending a survey, but no—I want your anecdotal evidence in the comments. But I will include this nifty Poll here!

I’m thinking about what I have room to change, if anything. I’ve got an idea for a way to use the Podcast differently that might be interesting and instructive.
Congratulations Scoot Crew! Got that T-Shirt. Take all the space you need. Here for camaraderie and conversation.
Congrats on the new addition to the family. Prayers with your whole family.
Welcome to new fatherhood. Congratulations. Baby Scoot will make you busier than ever, in a wonderful way.
